Reds v Highlanders

The Queensland Reds losing streak to New Zealand teams continued, with a 27 - 19 loss to the Highlanders at Suncorp Stadium. The Reds will be ruing some missed opportunities to capitalize on their 12 - 0 lead in the first half after tries to Jock Campbell and Josh Flook

Reds No. 8 Harry Wilson also suffered what look to be a serious neck injury, as he was stretchered off the field in a medi-cab. Thankfully Harry's injury does not seem to be serious.

The match also featured the return to Suncorp of former Reds Albert Anae and Sef Fa'agase due to the injuries impacting the Reds front-row playing stocks.

Queensland Reds 19 (Tries: Campbell, Flook, Smith; Conversions: Creighton 2) defeated by Highlanders 27 (Tries: Umaga-Jensen, Gregory, Fakatava; Conversions: Banks 2, Hunt; Penalties: Hunt 2)
