Fijian Drua v NSW Waratahs

The Fijian Drua played some exciting rugby, but the NSW Waratahs had too much experience, and cruised to a 38-14 win at CBus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast.

The Waratahs were boosted by the return of Michael Hooper and Jed Holloway, who both scored tries in the 6 tries to 2 win.

NSW Waratahs 38 (Tries: Pietsch, Gamble, Porecki, Holloway, Hooper, Nawaqanitawase; Conv: Edmed 4/5, Newsome 0/1) defeated Fijian Drua 14 (Tries: Habosi, Nasove; CONS: Tela 2/2; PENS: Tela 0/1)
