Reds hold on again Fast Finishing Fijians

The Queensland Reds let a big lead (28-9) slip against the Fijian Drua, but hung on for a tight win in a thriller at Suncorp Stadium.

The Drua staged a spectacular fightback in the second half to level the scores at 28-all, but Seru Uru dived over for the match winning try with a few minutes left. The Drua had one last chance to snatch the win with a line-out 5 metres from the Reds try-line, but it was Uru again who saved the day with the line-out steal

Queensland Reds 33 (Tries: Nasser 2, Petaia, Wilson, Uru; Conversions: O’Connor; Penalties: O’Connor 2) defeated Fijian Drua 28 (Tries: Ratave, Tamani, Habosi; Conversions: Tela 2; Penalties: Tela 3)
