Roma Echidnas Rugby Club hosted the 2022 Santos Festival of Rugby, featuring the annual Roma Sevens Tournament, as well as a Super Rugby Pre-season trial between the Queensland Reds and the NSW Waratahs.
The Waratahs claimed the Santos Cup, and the $25,000 winners cheque, for the second year in a row, with a 21 - 14 win
