Queensland Country defeated early favourites the Canberra Vikings 36 - 23 in the second leg of the NRC Double Header at Bond University on Sunday.


The Vikings took a narrow 20 - 19 lead into the half-time break. However the home team came home the strongest, scoring 3 tries in the second-half, while keeping the visitors to a single penalty goal.
